32:1 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a great number of cattle: and when they saw that the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead was a good place for cattle;
32:1 流便子孙和迦得子孙的牲畜极其众多。他们看见雅谢地和基列地是可牧放牲畜之地，
32:2 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and said to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to the chiefs of the meeting,
32:2 就来见摩西和祭司以利亚撒，并会众的首领，说，
32:3 Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Sebam, and Nebo, and Beon,
32:3 亚大录，底本，雅谢，宁拉，希实本，以利亚利，示班，尼波，比稳，
32:4 The land which the Lord gave into the hands of the children of Israel, is a land for cattle, and your servants have cattle.
32:4 就是耶和华在以色列会众前面所攻取之地，是可牧放牲畜之地，你仆人也有牲畜。
32:5 And they said, With your approval, let this land be given to your servants as their heritage: do not take us over Jordan.
32:5 又说，我们若在你眼前蒙恩，求你把这地给我们为业，不要领我们过约旦河。
32:6 And Moses said to the children of Gad and the children of Reuben, Are your brothers to go to the war, while you take your rest here?
32:6 摩西对迦得子孙和流便子孙说，难道你们的弟兄去打仗，你们竟坐在这里吗？
32:7 Why would you take from the children of Israel the desire to go over into the land which the Lord has given them?
32:7 你们为何使以色列人灰心丧胆，不过去进入耶和华所赐给他们的那地呢？
32:8 So did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.
32:8 我先前从加低斯巴尼亚打发你们先祖去窥探那地，他们也是这样行。
32:9 For when they went up to the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they took from the children of Israel the desire to go into the land which the Lord had given them.
32:9 他们上以实各谷，去窥探那地回来的时候，使以色列人灰心丧胆，不进入耶和华所赐给他们的地。
32:10 And at that time the Lord was moved to wrath, and made an oath, saying,
32:10 当日，耶和华的怒气发作，就起誓说，
32:11 Truly, not one of the men of twenty years old and over who came out of Egypt will see the land which I gave by oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; because they have not been true to me with all their heart;
32:11 凡从埃及上来，二十岁以外的人断不得看见我对亚伯拉罕，以撒，雅各起誓应许之地，因为他们没有专心跟从我。
32:12 But only Caleb, the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, and Joshua, the son of Nun: because they have been true to the Lord.
32:12 惟有基尼洗族耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚可以看见，因为他们专心跟从我。
32:13 Then the Lord was angry with Israel, and he made them wanderers in the waste land for forty years? till all that generation who had done evil in the eyes of the Lord was dead.
32:13 耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，使他们在旷野飘流四十年，等到在耶和华眼前行恶的那一代人都消灭了。
32:14 And now you have come to take the place of your fathers, another generation of sinners, increasing the wrath of the Lord against Israel.
32:14 谁知，你们起来接续先祖，增添罪人的数目，使耶和华向以色列大发烈怒。
32:15 For if you are turned away from him, he will send them wandering again in the waste land; and you will be the cause of the destruction of all this people.
32:15 你们若退后不跟从他，他还要把以色列人撇在旷野，便是你们使这众民灭亡。
32:16 Then they came to him, and said, We will make safe places for our cattle here, and towns for our little ones;
32:16 两支派的人挨近摩西，说，我们要在这里为牲畜垒圈，为妇人孩子造城。
32:17 But we ourselves will be ready armed to go before the children of Israel till we have taken them to their place: but our little ones will be safe in the walled towns against the people of the land.
32:17 我们自己要带兵器行在以色列人的前头，好把他们领到他们的地方。但我们的妇人孩子，因这地居民的缘故，要住在坚固的城内。
32:18 We will not come back to our houses till every one of the children of Israel has come into his heritage.
32:18 我们不回家，直等到以色列人各承受自己的产业。
32:19 For we will not have our heritage with them on the other side of Jordan and forward; because our heritage has come to us on this side of Jordan to the east.
32:19 我们不和他们在约旦河那边一带之地同受产业，因为我们的产业是坐落在约旦河东边这里。
32:20 Then Moses said to them, If you will do this, arming yourselves to go before the Lord to the war,
32:20 摩西对他们说，你们若这样行，在耶和华面前带着兵器出去打仗，
32:21 Every armed man of you going across Jordan before the Lord till he has overcome and sent in flight all who are against him,
32:21 所有带兵器的人都要在耶和华面前过约旦河，等他赶出他的仇敌，
32:22 And the land is under the rule of the Lord: then after that you may come back, having done no wrong to the Lord and to Israel; and this land will be yours for your heritage before the Lord.
32:22 那地被耶和华制伏了，然后你们可以回来，向耶和华和以色列才为无罪，这地也必在耶和华面前归你们为业。
32:23 But if you do not do this, then you are sinners against the Lord; and you may be certain that your sin will have its reward.
32:23 倘若你们不这样行，就得罪耶和华，要知道你们的罪必追上你们。
32:24 So get to work building your towns for your little ones, and safe places for your sheep; and do as you have said.
32:24 如今你们口中所出的，只管去行，为你们的妇人孩子造城，为你们的羊群垒圈。
32:25 And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben said to Moses, Your servants will do as my lord says.
32:25 迦得子孙和流便子孙对摩西说，仆人要照我主所吩咐的去行。
32:26 Our little ones, our wives, and our flocks, and all our cattle, will be there in the towns of Gilead;
32:26 我们的妻子，孩子，羊群，和所有的牲畜都要留在基列的各城。
32:27 But your servants will go over, every man armed for war, before the Lord to the fight, as my lord says.
32:27 但你的仆人，凡带兵器的，都要照我主所说的话，在耶和华面前过去打仗。
32:28 So Moses gave orders about them to Eleazar the priest and to Joshua, the son of Nun, and to the heads of families of the tribes of the children of Israel.
32:28 于是，摩西为他们嘱咐祭司以利亚撒和嫩的儿子约书亚，并以色列众支派的族长，
32:29 And Moses said to them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben go with you over Jordan, every man armed for the fight before the Lord, and all the land is given into your hands, then let them have the land of Gilead for a heritage:
32:29 说，迦得子孙和流便子孙，凡带兵器在耶和华面前去打仗的，若与你们一同过约旦河，那地被你们制伏了，你们就要把基列地给他们为业。
32:30 But if they do not go over with you armed, they will have to take their heritage with you in the land of Canaan.
32:30 倘若他们不带兵器和你们一同过去，就要在迦南地你们中间得产业。
32:31 Then the children of Gad and the children of Reuben said, As the Lord has said to your servants, so will we do.
32:31 迦得子孙和流便子孙回答说，耶和华怎样吩咐仆人，仆人就怎样行。
32:32 We will go over armed before the Lord into the land of Canaan, and you will give us our heritage on this side of Jordan.
32:32 我们要带兵器，在耶和华面前过去，进入迦南地，只是约旦河这边，我们所得为业之地仍归我们。
32:33 So Moses gave to them, even to the children of Gad and the children of Reuben and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorites and Og, king of Bashan, all the land with its towns and the country round them.
32:33 摩西将亚摩利王西宏的国和巴珊王噩的国，连那地和周围的城邑，都给了迦得子孙和流便子孙，并约瑟的儿子玛拿西半个支派。
32:34 And the children of Gad were the builders of Dibon and Ataroth and Aroer;
32:34 迦得子孙建造底本，亚他录，亚罗珥，
32:35 And Atroth-shophan and Jazer and Jogbehah;
32:35 亚他录朔反，雅谢，约比哈，
32:36 And Beth-nimrah and Beth-haran: walled towns and shut-in places for sheep.
32:36 伯宁拉，伯哈兰，都是坚固城。他们又垒羊圈。
32:37 And the children of Reuben were the builders of Heshbon and Elealeh and Kiriathaim;
32:37 流便子孙建造希实本，以利亚利，基列亭，
32:38 And Nebo and Baal-meon, (their names being changed,) and Sibmah: and they gave other names to the towns they made.
32:38 尼波，巴力免，西比玛（尼波，巴力免，名字是改了的），又给他们所建造的城另起别名。
32:39 And the children of Machir, the son of Manasseh, went to Gilead and took it, driving out the Amorites who were living there.
32:39 玛拿西的儿子玛吉，他的子孙往基列去，占了那地，赶出那里的亚摩利人。
32:40 And Moses gave Gilead to Machir, the son of Manasseh; and he made it his living-place.
32:40 摩西将基列赐给玛拿西的儿子玛吉，他子孙就住在那里。
32:41 And Jair, the son of Manasseh, went and took the towns of Gilead, naming them Havvoth-Jair.
32:41 玛拿西的子孙睚珥去占了基列的村庄，就称这些村庄为哈倭特睚珥。
32:42 And Nobah went and took Kenath and its small towns, naming it Nobah, after himself.
32:42 挪巴去占了基纳和基纳的乡村，就按自己的名称基纳为挪巴。
