12:1 At that time, when thousands of the people had come together, in such numbers that they were crushing one another, he said first to his disciples, Have nothing to do with the leaven of the Pharisees, which is deceit.
12:1 这时，有几万人聚集，甚至彼此践踏，耶稣开讲，先对门徒说，你们要防备法利赛人的酵，就是假冒为善。
12:2 But nothing is covered up, which will not come to light, or secret, which will not be made clear.
12:2 掩盖的事，没有不露出来的。隐藏的事，没有不被人知道的。
12:3 So, whatever you have said in the dark, will come to men's hearing in the light, and what you have said secretly inside the house, will be made public from the house-tops.
12:3 因此你们在暗中所说的，将要在明处被人听见。在内室附耳所说的，将要在房上被人宣扬。
12:4 And I say to you, my friends, Have no fear of those who may put the body to death, and are able to do no more than that.
12:4 我的朋友，我对你们说，那杀身体以后，不能再作什么的，不要怕他们。
12:5 But I will make clear to you of whom you are to be in fear: of him who after death has power to send you to hell; yes, truly I say, Have fear of him.
12:5 我要指示你们当怕的是谁。当怕那杀了以后，又有权柄丢在地狱里的。我实在告诉你们，正要怕他。
12:6 Are not five sparrows given in exchange for two farthings? and God has every one of them in mind.
12:6 五个麻雀，不是卖二分银子吗？但在神面前，一个也不忘记。
12:7 But even the hairs of your head are numbered. Have no fear: you are of more value than a flock of sparrows.
12:7 就是你们的头发也都被数过了。不要惧怕，你们比许多麻雀还贵重。
12:8 And I say to you that to everyone who gives witness to me before men, the Son of man will give witness before the angels of God.
12:8 我又告诉你们，凡在人面前认我的，人子在神的使者面前也必认他。
12:9 But if anyone says before men that he has no knowledge of me, I will say that I have no knowledge of him before the angels of God.
12:9 在人面前不认我的，人子在神的使者面前也必不认他。
12:10 And if anyone says a word against the Son of man, he will have forgiveness: but for him who says evil words against the Holy Spirit, there will be no forgiveness.
12:10 凡说话干犯人子的，还可得赦免，惟独亵渎圣灵的，总不得赦免。
12:11 And when they take you before the Synagogues and the authorities and the rulers, take no thought about what answers you will give, or what you will say:
12:11 人带你们到会堂，并官府，和有权柄的人面前，不要思虑怎么分诉，说什么话。
12:12 For the Holy Spirit will make clear to you in that very hour what to say.
12:12 因为正在那时候，圣灵要指教你们当说的话。
12:13 And one of the people said to him, Master, give an order to my brother to make division of the heritage with me.
12:13 众人中有一个人对耶稣说，夫子，请你吩咐我的兄长和我分开家业。
12:14 But he said, Man, who made me a judge or a maker of decisions for you?
12:14 耶稣说，你这个人，谁立我作你们断事的官，给你们分家业呢？
12:15 And he said to them, Take care to keep yourselves free from the desire for property; for a man's life is not made up of the number of things which he has.
12:15 于是对众人说，你们要谨慎自守，免去一切的贪心。因为人的生命，不在乎家道丰富。
12:16 And he said to them, in a story, The land of a certain man of great wealth was very fertile:
12:16 就用比喻对他们说，有一个财主，田产丰盛。
12:17 And he said to himself, What is to be done? for I have no place in which to put all my fruit.
12:17 自己心里思想说，我的出产没有地方收藏，怎么办呢？
12:18 And he said, This I will do: I will take down my store-houses and make greater ones, and there I will put all my grain and my goods.
12:18 又说，我要这么办。要把我的仓房拆了，另盖更大的。在那里好收藏我一切的粮食和财物。
12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have a great amount of goods in store, enough for a number of years; be at rest, take food and wine and be happy.
12:19 然后要对我的灵魂说，灵魂哪，你有许多财物积存，可作多年的费用。只管安安逸逸的吃喝快乐吧。
12:20 But God said to him, You foolish one, tonight I will take your soul from you, and who then will be the owner of all the things which you have got together?
12:20 神却对他说，无知的人哪，今夜必要你的灵魂。你所预备的，要归谁呢？
12:21 So that is what comes to the man who gets wealth for himself, and has not wealth in the eyes of God.
12:21 凡为自己积财，在神面前却不富足的，也是这样。
12:22 And he said to his disciples, For this reason I say to you, Take no thought for your life, about what food you will take, or for your body, how it may be clothed.
12:22 耶稣又对门徒说，所以我告诉你们，不要为生命忧虑吃什么。为身体忧虑穿什么。
12:23 Is not life more than food, and the body than its clothing?
12:23 因为生命胜于饮食，身体胜于衣裳。
12:24 Give thought to the ravens; they do not put seeds into the earth, or get together grain; they have no store-houses or buildings; and God gives them their food: of how much greater value are you than the birds!
12:24 你想乌鸦，也不种，也不收。又没有仓，又没有库，神尚且养活它。你们比飞鸟是何等的贵重呢。
12:25 And which of you by taking thought is able to make himself any taller?
12:25 你们哪一个能用思虑，使寿数多加一刻呢？（或作使身量多加一肘呢？）
12:26 If, then, you are not able to do even that which is least, why are you troubled about the rest?
12:26 这最小的事，你们尚且不能作，为什么还忧虑其余的事呢？
12:27 Give thought to the flowers: they do no work, they make no thread; and still I say to you, Even Solomon, in all his glory, was not clothed like one of these.
12:27 你想，百合花怎么长起来。它也不劳苦，也不纺线。然而我告诉你们，就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的，还不如这花一朵呢。
12:28 But if God gives such clothing to the grass in the field, which today is living, and tomorrow will be burned in the oven, how much more will he give clothing to you, O men of little faith?
12:28 你们这小信的人哪，野地里的草，今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢。
12:29 And do not give overmuch thought to your food and drink, and let not your mind be full of doubts.
12:29 你们不要求吃什么，喝什么，也不要挂心。
12:30 For the nations of the world go in search of all these things: but your Father has knowledge that you have need of them.
12:30 这都是外邦人所求的，你们必须用这些东西，你们的父是知道的。
12:31 But let your chief care be for his kingdom, and these other things will be given to you in addition.
12:31 你们只要求他的国，这些东西就必加给你们了。
12:32 Have no fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
12:32 你们这小群，不要惧怕，因为你们的父，乐意把国赐给你们。
12:33 Give what property you have in exchange for money, and give the money to the poor; make for yourselves money-bags which will not get old, wealth stored up in heaven which will be yours for ever, where thieves will not come nor worms put it to destruction.
12:33 你们要变卖所有的，周济人。为自己预备永不坏的钱囊，用不尽的财宝在天上，就是贼不能近，虫不能蛀的地方。
12:34 For where your wealth is, there will your heart be.
12:34 因为你们的财宝在哪里，你们的心也在哪里。
12:35 Be ready, dressed as for a journey, with your lights burning.
12:35 你们腰里要束上带，灯也要点着。
12:36 And be like men who are looking for their lord, when he comes back from the bride-feast; so that when he comes to the door, it will be open to him quickly.
12:36 自己好像仆人等候主人，从婚姻的筵席上回来。他来到叩门，就立刻给他开门。
12:37 Happy are those servants who are watching when the lord comes; truly I say to you, he will make himself their servant and, placing them at the table, he will come out and give them food.
12:37 主人来了，看见仆人儆醒，那仆人就有福了。我实在告诉你们，主人必叫他们坐席，自己束上带，进前伺候他们。
12:38 And if he comes in the second division of the night or in the third, and they are watching for him, happy are those servants.
12:38 或是二更天来，或是三更天来，看见仆人这样，那仆人就有福了。
12:39 But be certain of this, that if the master of the house had had knowledge of the time when the thief was coming, he would have been watching, and would not have let his house be broken into.
12:39 家主若知道贼什么时候来，就必儆醒，不容贼挖透房屋，这是你们所知道的。
12:40 So be ready: for the Son of man is coming at a time when you are not looking for him.
12:40 你们也要预备。因为你们想不到的时候，人子就来了。
12:41 And Peter said to him, Lord, are these words said to us only, or to all men?
12:41 彼得说，主阿，这比喻是为我们说的呢？还是为众人呢？
12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is the wise and responsible servant whom his lord will put in control of his family, to give them their food at the right time?
12:42 主说，谁是那忠心有见识的管家，主人派他管理家里的人，按时分粮给他们呢？
12:43 Happy is that servant who, when his lord comes, is doing so.
12:43 主人来到，看见仆人这样行，那仆人就有福了。
12:44 Truly I say to you, he will put him in control of all his goods.
12:44 我实在告诉你们，主人要派他管理一切所有的。
12:45 But if that servant says to himself, My lord is a long time coming; and goes about giving blows to the men-servants and the women-servants, feasting and taking overmuch wine;
12:45 那仆人若心里说，我的主人必来得迟。就动手打仆人和使女，并且吃喝醉酒。
12:46 The lord of that servant will come at a time when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not ready for him, and he will have him cut in two and will give him his part in the fate of those who have no faith;
12:46 在他想不到的日子，不知道的时辰，那仆人的主人要来，重重地处治他（或作把他腰斩了），定他和不忠心的人同罪。
12:47 And the servant who had knowledge of his lord's desires and was not ready for him and did not do as he was ordered, will be given a great number of blows;
12:47 仆人知道主人的意思，却不预备，又不顺他的意思行，那仆人必多受责打。
12:48 But he who, without knowledge, did things for which punishment is given, will get only a small number of blows. The man to whom much is given, will have to give much; if much is given into his care, of him more will be requested.
12:48 惟有那不知道的，作了当受责打的事，必少受责打因为多给谁，就向谁多取。多托谁，就向谁多要。
12:49 I came to send a fire on the earth, and it may even now have been lighted.
12:49 我来要把火丢在地上。倘若已经着起来，不也是我所愿意的吗？
12:50 But there is a baptism which I have to undergo; and how am I kept back till it is complete!
12:50 我有当受的洗。还没有成就，我是何等的迫切呢。
12:51 Is it your opinion that I have come to give peace on earth? I say to you, No, but division:
12:51 你们以为我来，是叫地上太平吗？我告诉你们，不是，乃是叫人分争。
12:52 For from this time, a family of five in one house will be on opposite sides, three against two and two against three.
12:52 从今以后，一家五个人将要分争，三个人和两个人相争，两个人和三个人相争。
12:53 They will be at war, the father against his son, and the son against his father; mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; mother-in-law against daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.
12:53 父亲和儿子相争，儿子和父亲相争。母亲和女儿相争，女儿和母亲相争。婆婆和媳妇相争，媳妇和婆婆相争。
12:54 Then he said to the people, When you see a cloud coming up in the west, straight away you say, There will be rain; and so it is.
12:54 耶稣又对众人说，你们看见西边起了云彩，就说，要下一阵雨。果然就有。
12:55 And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, There will be heat; and so it is.
12:55 起了南风，就说，将要燥热。也就有了。
12:56 O false ones! the face of the earth and the heaven is clear to you; how is it that the signs of these times are not as clear to you?
12:56 假冒为善的人哪，你们知道分辨天地的气色。怎么不知道分辨这时候呢？
12:57 And why are you, in your hearts, unable to be judges of what is right?
12:57 你们又为何不自己审量，什么是合理的呢？
12:58 For if anyone has a cause at law against you, and you are going with him before the ruler, make an attempt, on the way, to come to an agreement with him, for if you do not, he may take you before the judge and the judge will give you up to the police, and they will put you in prison.
12:58 你同告你的对头去见官，还在路上，务要尽力的和他了结。恐怕他拉你到官面前，官交付差役，差役把你下在监里
12:59 I say to you, You will not come out of it till you have made payment to the very last farthing.
12:59 我告诉你，若有半文钱没有还清，你断不能从那里出来。
